Did You Get a Surprise in Your Letterbox?


I've been busy getting all your letters ready and putting them in envelopes. We have 31 children in our class so there were letters all over the lounge floor!! Today I popped them in the post box so hopefully you will get your letter in the mail by the end of the week. I have also been busy setting up our classroom. Tomorrow I will upload some photos so you can have a sneaky peek at what your class will look like. I hope you're all having an awesome summer holiday.

I can't wait to hear all about it on Monday morning. I'm sure you will have some creative ideas of how we can finish setting up our class for this year.

    Hi Miss Gentil, it's me Josiah again. Sorry my mum lost my first message. I got my letter yesterday, it was my first ever mail. It was awesome. I cant wait to see the class and I can't wait to go back to school and have fun again. I think we should make a monkey, oh hang on are we still having a jungle class? That would be much easier for me to think about ideas. I can't wait to see Ollie. Can you bring your pet turtle? You're the best teacher EVER! I hope you have a lovely day. BYE!! From Josiah

    Hi Josiah, I'm so happy that your letter arrived. That's exciting that it was the first letter in the mail that you've ever got! Of course you can make a monkey. That sounds like an awesome idea. I knew you would have some good ideas. A big parcel arrived in the mail yesterday for Room 8. I wonder if you can guess what it it? :) I will post a photo of the parcel on the blog later. Maybe I could bring Pebbles (the turtle) in one day when I'm having a day out of the classroom. Then I can take him home and put him back in his tank after his visit. I hope you have a fun weekend and I will see you on Monday.
